Developed computational models to simulate mood fluctuations, focusing on Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Bipolar Disorder (BD). Utilized Markov chains and Hidden Markov Models to represent mood states—including normal, depressive, and manic phases—and their transitions influenced by a combination of internal and external factors. Conducted in-depth statistical examinations to assess the prevalence and trends of MDD and BD, aiming to mirror actual epidemiological data.
